WINTER SESSION: Wednesdays, January 13–February 17 (6 sessions)

Explore the fundamentals of oil painting, including color mixing, composition, value, brushwork, and techniques for creating depth, texture, and light. Through gallery time, demonstrations, and individualized feedback, you’ll be inspired to create paintings in oil while learning how to develop work from observation and reference images.

Beginning painters will establish a strong foundation in materials and techniques, while intermediate students will have opportunities to refine their style, expand their technical skills, and work toward more independent projects. A recommended supply list will be provided prior to the first class.
